Shakyamuni Buddha Puja

The Day of Miracles is the culmination of the Fifteen Days of Miracles which began on Losar, the first day of the Tibetan New Year Feb 21, and which commemorate the special time when Guru Shakyamuni showed miraculous powers in order to subdue six Tirthikas (non-Buddhist Teachers) who lacked faith in him, and to inspire more faith in his followers.
Traditionally, any acts of positive or negative karma are multiplied “ten million times.”
At HBC we will be reciting the Shakyamuni Buddha Puja on this day.
