Exploring Meditation is the second module in the pilot FPMT intermediate program, Exploring Buddhism.
Exploring Meditation will introduce methods to bring about enduring positive changes through the practice of meditation. The course will explore the basic components and types of meditation, how to train in calm abiding [shamatha], the stages in which different mental states are developed, and the four close applications of mindfulness.
We will as well cover how to organise a meditation session for your individual practice and for leading others in meditation.
