A Celebration of Lama Yeshe on Losar

February 10 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

A celebratory day where we will  commemorate the life of Lama Yeshe with the Vajrasattva Tsog practice at 9am. Lama Yeshe was the founder of our tradition, fleeing Tibet in 1959. He passed away on the dawn of Losar in 1984. The  Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition was established in the west thanks to his far reaching wisdom and charisma.

Precepts will be offered 5 am at the centre and those intending to take them for the first time pls contact spc@hayagriva.org.au

Losar, the Tibetan New year,  is the commencement of the fifteen days of Miracles and coincides with the Chinese New Year. In Tibet the first three days of the period are particularly celebratory.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and offerings of flowers and food much appreciated.
