A Celebration of Lama Yeshe on Losar
February 21 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

A celebratory day where we will commemorate the life of Lama Yeshe with the Tsog practice and offerings, together with some short videos and anecdotes from students who met him. Lama Yeshe was the founder of our tradition, fleeing Tibet in 1959. He passed away on the dawn of Losar in 1984. The Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition was established in the west thanks to his far reaching wisdom and charisma.
Losar, the Tibetan New year, is the commencement of the fifteen days of Miracles and coincides with the Chinese New Year. In Tibet the first three days of the period are particularly celebratory.
